Frequently asked questions
Strap, sleeve or brace: what's the difference?
A sleeve hugs your whole knee. A brace locks the whole joint. A strap does neither: it puts gentle pressure on one band of tendon just under the kneecap and leaves the rest of your knee free to move.
Will it slide down my leg?
That's the complaint we hear most about cheap straps, so we built around it. The silicone pad grips your skin and holds its place while you walk, climb and play.
I'm just getting back into exercise. Is it for me?
That's exactly who we made it for. Walking, the bike, your first gym weeks: wear it when you move, and follow the free Knee Reset plan between sessions. Start slow, and check with your doctor if you have a knee condition.
I have arthritis, not a sports injury. Is it for me?
It doesn't treat arthritis, and we won't tell you it does. Plenty of people with stiff, achy knees wear a strap for walks and stairs because it supports that one spot without a bulky brace. Check with your doctor if you have a diagnosed condition. And you have 60 days to send it back if it isn't for you.
Will it fit bigger legs?
It's one adjustable size. Measure your leg just below the knee with a soft tape, and email us your number at contact@stayvostrap.com before you order if you're unsure: we'll tell you honestly. If it doesn't fit, send it back within 60 days for a full refund.
Can I keep it on all day?
Yes, the strap breathes. Take it off when you sit for a long stretch and at night.
What if it doesn't help?
Send it back within 60 days for a full refund. No reason needed, no forms.
